Currently: Reading The Official Formula 1 Season Review 2006 ed. by Bruce Jones ]For several days, there have been rumours that Giancarlo Fisichella has secured the Force India race seat alongside Adrian Sutil. For the same several days, I've refused to state categorically that it was true. As far as I was concerned, I would believe it when I get official confirmation of it, partly due to not wanting to get overexcited about something that might not be true.
Well, I got confirmation of a sort about an hour ago. Go to the Force India home page, take a look at their webcast advertising and then try telling me that it isn't Fisi's hairdo on the left-hand side...
I would go and do cartwheels in sheer happiness now, but my parents have gone to bed and I think I'd be in trouble if I woke them up celebrating. Not to worry, the race seat has gone to the right guy - now I can wonder about who will be testing...
