Introduction
This meme came from Sidepodcast as "Friday Fun - Create Your Own Press Release" and looks like it would be a lot of fun. The premise is simple: let the imagination run free and come up with a really serious/silly/funny/[insert-near-synonym-here] story. To be precise, the instructions were:
Create your own press release. Choose a driver/s, choose an event, choose a consequence/action
Since I'm reading a book of modern quotations, I thought I'd make it more fun and force myself to include a quotation out of the book with my press release. As it says on the front of the book, "I always have a quotation for everything - it saves original thinking"...
Then I had another idea. Interlinking press releases, referencing posts and comments elsewhere (particularly other participants)? Why not?
The sequence of press releases will gradually appear over the course of the evening and possibly into Saturday, so keep checking back for updates. This press lady will have lots of work to do :)
The Team
Obviously, I can't do this for a real team, so why not make one up? After all, with talk of the understudy teams having understudies, why not have another one join in just to make life even more confusing?
With that in mind, this is my team - or as much as needed to understand the press releases. New facts/personnel as the result of modifications announced in press releases will be written in white because they are spoilers. These will be separated from each other and the original information with the / symbol (which will be in black). Highlight the area between / symbols (or the bit after the last / symbol) to reveal the spoiler. (I am aware this won't work so well with people who use non-default colour settings. Unfortunately this wiki does not support more sophisticated means of hiding spoilers).
