Thanks Alianora ! May I ask you where you get the data from ? I used to get it from the FIA race report, but it doesn't appear to be there anymore....

I compile this by picking up all the on-event stewards' reports. Strewn among them (typically but not invariably in the Saturday section) there is a record of who changed engine and gearbox. You still need the post-race scrutineer's report for last-minute changes and the system is much messier than last year's, but it works.

thanks Alianora ! Will watch that... must say I didn't pay much attention to the stewards reports unless I am looking for something special... Was so disappointed by this year's race report I even wrote to the FIA... but not even an answer to acknowledge... they were much more cooperative last year I had some very useful exchanges with their ex-Head of Communications (Alexandra Schieren, now with Pirelli)...

Ago, you're welcome. I try to get the reports each race - apart from the engines and gearboxes, I'm trying to do a scrutineering pattern analysis.

I'm not surprised the FIA didn't acknowledge your correspondence this year. I've never managed to get them to acknowledge my correspondence and I believe they only do so if they intend to provide a substantive reply. Good to hear good things of Alexandra - most organisations in F1 needs people who are good at communicating with the general public, so well done Pirelli for having her in theirs
